OUR MISSION STATEMENT
Organization for Inspiration is a non-profit organization by and for artists, Film makers, Poets, Musicians, Storytellers, and people Like You in the Milwaukee area to Organize to Inspire. We organize gatherings in the Milwaukee area in which we pick a topic such as unity, and we ask people in the community to artistically share their opinions. Please contact us if you are a local artist interested in performing at one of our events (musicians, visual artists, storytellers, writers, Poets, Film makers, or any other form of artist) Also, please submit your artwork for our Online gallery, and your Inspired writings for our Inspired writing page!
One of our long-term goals is to buil a space for local artists, filmakers, musicians and others to use as a public studio.
This location will also house a place for Performances, theatrical, film and otherwise, a cafe, an art gallery and more!
We hope after creating this space to inspire others to create similar spaces to encourage positive growth and community in the city of Milwaukee and elsewhere!
"The arts are the number ONE reason that people come to live and play in downtown" according to every annual survey conducted by Milwaukee Downtown, BID #21. The arts are critical to our city of Milwaukee being successful because it helps to attract talent and tourists, provides positive energy and excitement, and contributes to the creativity education of thousands of MPS children, which is sorely needed right now.
